What is a PVC union for？
Union is a kind of mechanical sealing joint, It is a common piping connector that can be easily installed and removed. which is widely used because of its special structure, which can realize the advantages of reliable sealing, strong bearing capacity and long service life.

How to install union？
1. Measure the length of PVC pipe to determine the amount of glue to be used.
2. Cut the pipe: use the correct pipe cutting tools to ensure a smooth cut.
3. Clean the PVC double by order ball valve, straight pipe and fittings with cleaner, use dry and clean paper or cloth, the surface needs to be coated with non-glossy paint, don't touch the clean surface.
4. Check the adhesive: the adhesive should be shaken well before use, put the cleaner and adhesive in a dry and cool place.
5. Apply the adhesive in the longitudinal direction of the PVC double-by-wire ball valve.
6. Connect the straight pipe and fittings: Hold them continuously for a period of time, insert the fittings into the PVC double-by-wire ball valve within one minute of applying the adhesive, do not twist, and apply the excess adhesive.
7. Cooling time: about 1 hour/bar, depending on ambient temperature and tolerance.
Why use union instead of coupling？
The basic difference between a coupling and a union is that coupling is for joining pipe to pipe or pipe to a swedge.
The union is made for joining and disassemble a part of a piping system (a steam trap or control valve, etc) for maintenance or replacement.
