    Eccentric butterfly valve is a common control valve, which is characterized by the valve flap design for eccentric structure, in the opening and closing process can make the valve sealing better with the help of eccentric design. General and center butterfly valve refers to the valve flap structure for the symmetric axis.
    Compared with general butterfly valves, eccentric butterfly valves are characterized by more complex structure and higher manufacturing cost. However, in practical applications, it also has superior control performance and sealing performance, especially in high-pressure, high-temperature, high-viscosity and other complex media, eccentric butterfly valve performance is more prominent, to achieve more accurate flow control and pressure regulation.

    What is advantage of eccentric butterfly valve?

    1.small flow resistance: 
    because the spool of eccentric butterfly valve is designed to be centrifugally different from the seat by a certain distance, when the medium flows through the valve, the flow route is more concise than that of other valves, thus forming a smaller resistance;
    2.Reliable sealing: 
    During the closing process of eccentric butterfly valve, a larger squeeze pressure will be formed between the spool and the seat, which can realize better sealing; while in opening, it mainly relies on the friction between the spool and the seat to ensure the sealing.
    3.Small pressure loss: 
    eccentric butterfly valve with eccentric structure can adjust the medium flow track to the minimum, thus reducing the resistance and pressure loss.
